I believe that the moral of this story is what goes around comes around. What happened in this story was karma came back to haunt the parents that acted rude towards their father and father in-law. Once they realized how crude they acted, they changed there ways and treated the grandfather like the human being he was.

That was a fact stating humans and chimps have 98% the same gene level. The reason I liked this fact so much was because I find it interesting how humans and chumps are so alike. I always knew they were a highly developed and intilectual species, although its interesting to see how alike are gene cells are.
