One thousand miles northeast of Hawaii is something known as the Pacific garbage patch. What it is is a large patch of human detritus. Why its there is an obvious reason. Our human race is continuing to litter and pollute our environment. Garbage is continuously added to the patch of filth.It is a terrible sight to see that we dispose of our trash in such a way. This is an important issue that needs to be put to an end. I feel ashamed when I heard that this is the way our country disposes of our waste.I hope that we can soon put this to an end.
